That's me: I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am the youngest in a family with two brothers and one sister. After high school I became a hotel management trainee and worked as a cashier at the Bentota Beach Hotel (on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka). In 1983, I came to Austria to further my knowledge of the hotel trade and worked in various hotels. In 1994 I join the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. During 2003 I was deployed as Support Staff to the UN Mission in Iraq. Active member of the Sri Lanka Association in Vienna (1983-1990). Member of the "Colombo Jaycees" (similar to the Lions Club). Favourite occupation: Social welfare and travelling. Destinations: Sri Lanka ! ...but also any other country with places of historical culture.. Music: Country music. Food: Fried fish in bread crumbs, "Topfenstrudel" with vanilla sauce. My motto: A Pure Mind Protects You. What I dislike: When people make each other's lives unnecessarily difficult.
